Have a Chrysler town and country that is wearing inside tread on both front tires also has a bad wobble in the front end started doing it at 70mph now I can't get it up to 50mph. If you lift it up and move both tires there's a metal clanging sound that comes from a box that both front axles run into. What could this possibly be. Please help I have been rebuilding this van cause its cheap to fix and I have researched for months now and can't seem to figure it out. I'm no mechanic but it sounds to me like your steering mechanism is wearing out. Rack and pinion perhaps?
