Hi, I'm interested in buying a new Mazda CX 50 and I have a choice of a 2.5 non-turbo base engine, or the upgraded turbo engine. I do want good reliability and decent enough performance. Is the upgraded turbo engine something you'd recommend and worth the extra cost? or should I just stick to the base non turbo engine?

Scotty has commented that Mazda has increasingly increased its quality, so perhaps it is a good choice, but always trying to see if the car does not have any peculiarities that could cause problems in the future.
About the engine, it's 2.5, in principle it should be a resistant engine, but about the turbo, Scotty comments that turbo cars have more wear and tear, that's up to you. Remembering again to research specific features that the engine may have and see if it could cause problems in the future.
