Scotty,
I am getting ready to pull the trigger on a new 3/4 ton truck. Which would you buy? F250, Ram 2500, Chevy HD2500.
Also considering the new 2022 Tundra, but not sure it would be enough to pull my 8.5'x16' 6000lb trailer on a consistent basis.

This has been discussed before but go with the F250. I would hold off on the new Tundra until it has been out for a few years and we can see how they are holding up.
My preference would be for the Chevy 2500. At least they don't lie every year about being the best selling pickup like Ford does.
@doc you’re killin me haha 🤦♂️
Gas or diesel?
Diesel Ram, Ford and never Chevy.
Gas Ford, Ram is eh, and never Chevy.
GM had their chance at taking the truck market and they failed. People who depend on their trucks for their living are buying Ford and Rams.
If I had to choose, I would go with the RAM 2500 with the Cummins engine. The gasoline Hemis are fine when taken care.
The Chevy Silverado 2500 still uses the 10speed transmission which is garbage and it won't change at all even with this chip shortage.
The Ford still uses it as well (depending on the engine you pick).
I would wait on the tundra because nobody has reviewed it yet and it's unclear if it's reliable.
The current Silverado 2500HD comes with a 6-speed automatic transmission, or optional Allison 10-speed transmission. Not the Ford designed garbage which was the subject of all the lawsuits.
Definitely gas, can't justify the upcharge for the diesel.
The new Tundra is rated for 12000 pounds, so 6 should be fine for regular use. And even being a new model, I would predict better reliability than any of the big-3. When it comes out, it will be one of the most extensively tested new vehicles ever. Only thing is that between pent up demand and chip shortages, might be tough to get one right away.
