Hi Scotty, my dad is planning to get a new Triumph Speedmaster. Does Triumph make good and reliable motorcycles?

No, they are not. Find similar models in Japanese made bikes and you will be happy.

The Triumph motorcycles of today are only slightly better than the nightmare bike I rode in the 60s, when they had severe electrical and oil leaking problems. Get yourself a nice Yamaha FJR1300.
