I'm planning to get a new motorcycle this year and I have three choices.
1. Honda CB1000R Black Edition
2. Yamaha MT09
3. Ducati Monster

For your list:
First: Honda
Second: Yamaha
and Forget the Ducati.

Though I really like the Yamaha, I'd go with the Honda. Fast as hell, and it'll hold up better over the next 5-10 years.When you do sell it, you'll get a better resale to apply to your next bike, boat etc.
Problem I have is I never sell any of my motorbikes. ha ha
