Scotty what are your thoughts and have you seen the new Hyundai Santa Cruz. I hear Ford is also coming out with a similar class of truck.
Hyundai Motor Group quality has not been all that great over the decade and we’ll see how this vehicle holds up, but it’s nothing I can recommend yet. For this class of vehicles, one is better off with the Honda Ridgeline (although I am not a fan of the VCM technology in that engine, esp. for long term ownership).
Nice looking truck for sure, not a fan of their products, looks like a new version of the Subaru baja, not much cargo space, high center of gravity, I was looking for a base price but came up empty last week. If base price comes in under 25k it may be ok, not sure there long term reliability will be any better than there past products. I stick with Toyota. Pay up front but better chance of not getting Christmas cards from a mechanic.
It is a nice minivan. Ford already had a similar class of that truck, the explorer sport trac. But I am curious to see what they will do
