I don't know of any SUV's that can tow that much. You're looking at a full size truck or van.

The only new relaible vehicle I can think is close to your towing capactiy requirement is the Toyota Sequioia. Other option is to lease any of the American vehicles (Ford Expedition, Chevy Tahoe, etc.) to get to your required towing capacity.

According to Toyota the towing capacity for the Sequoia is 7400 lbs.

@fjcruiser2014. I already know that, but it's not really close to his towing capacity requirement.

When asked how much he plans on towing he said at least 9000 lbs, so probably even more, so not sure how something lower than 9000 lbs capacity (and even you're saying "it's not really close to his towing capacity requirement") can be a good fit for his needs.

@fjcruiser2014 You made your point. I can't argue with that.

If wanting a Toyota and willing to go for a truck then according to Toyota for their 2021 Tundra the maximum towing capacity is 10100 lbs (based on the trim). For the 2022 Tundra this number goes up to 11120 lbs (again based on trim).

I don’t think regular SUV’s can tow that much weight. You would need a bonafide truck, or an SUV based on a truck platform that can handle it.

My guess, would be the Ford Expedition and the GMC Suburban (and variants) would be the only two to fit the bill.

My preference would be a Toyota 4Runner or Sequoia, but this don’t meet the weight requirements.
