And here we go again with GM and their problems with EVs
https://www.wheels.ca/news/nissans-canadian-racing-program-matures-with-sentra-cup/
Well, me living in Canada, I get to see this series from Nissan with the Sentra Cup where they race modified base model Sentras with manuals since we get the manuals (only on the S and fully loaded SR trims) in Canada and not the US.

Well don't have high hopes of a rotary engine coming
Honda Motor Co. has a rude surprise for drivers of its leased cars: No more turning in your vehicles to other dealers.
The carmaker said Thursday it will require the drivers with expiring leases to return their vehicles to authorized Honda and Acura dealers and refuse to accept buyouts from unaffiliated dealers or others. Honda cited tight supplies of cars and trucks as a result of shortfalls in critical components and congestion at ports as the economy recovers.
Well Scotty Kilmer and the forum chat don't rlly talk about the current Nissan CEO Makoto Uchida, but he had something to say to the Japanese Court about Ghosn during his time in the alliance
It seems nobody can tame these volatile lithium ion batteries. Not Samsung, not Tesla, not even Boeing. Maybe it's time we just accept they're impractical and move on to something else.
@MountainManJoe I agree. That's why so many companies move to hydrogen fuel cells and hydrogen fuels. I think the Li ion batteries have long way to go in order to be used in bigger products (cars, ...) , although they are Ok in electronic usage.

Possibly the worst interview I have ever seen, especially with a man that saved Nissan from extinction in 1999
oh please. Ghosn is a criminal
https://carkiller.com/scottykilmer/qa/secrets-behind-the-whole-situation-with-carlos-ghosn-and-nissan
lol we will never know. It's still going on, and there are also chances that the Japanese could be racist towards successful non-japanese business people, plus their justice system is very questionable. Yes, Ghosn has made shady moves in the past, but without him, Nissan would have been extinct before the start of the 21st century.
yes. thank you for summarizing his excuses

I can get a new Dodge Journey 2.4L for 14K and change at my local dealership rn
@7-3punchina3-4 are you sure? The Dodge website says it starts at $24k
@MountainManJoe When Dodge canceled the Journey local dealers had 40+ stuck on the lot that weren't selling. The OG dealer I was talking about sold most of theirs and only have about 5 left but there are still some local and extremely cheap new Journeys out here in the S. IL area. Almost bought one instead of my fusion just because it was so cheap. And Highlanders are going to be 5 years old and have 120K miles on em. I got the fusion for 16K new which is 8 under msrp which was amazing because the market heated up literally a week after I bought it. The trade in value for the thing is 23K with 6K miles on it and I bought it in March for 16 and change. Looking for a nice Camaro, Charger, Mustang, or Challenger to trade it in for 😛
I would be tempted too at that price
Who agrees to pay $32k for a powertrain on a Camry?
Well, here we go again with Toyota Truck rusting issues....
again? so much for their kaizen
Idk which side to agree on.

We'll see if it's more reliable than the Mazda engines. Seems like they took the Wankel rotary engine, and added even more moving, sealing surfaces.
