Hi Scotty, I have a 2009 Nissan Almera with 75,000 miles and a Manual transmission.

VIN: JN1CFAN16Z0129301

The handbrake release silver button is cracked, so I'm wondering how do I remove it to replace it with a new one.

Thanks.

Looking at the picture it just appears the coating has come off. Does it still work? If it is has a crack but can be saved I would put a filler in there and touch up with the appropriate paint. I don't think there is a way to replace the button alone.

Ya you’d have to replace the entire lever so as long as it works I’d say run with it
