My car is a 2011 Nissan Altima 2.5L and my positive battery terminal has big ass fuse box on it that needs replacing. I.bought new terminals, they are simple terminals. Do I have to get that stupid fuse box terminal or can I replace it with what I have.

You need that. It protects the electrical system from shorts in the battery/starter and Alternator/battery circuits.
It's a $20 part.
Not an area to be "frugal"

If you bypass that you could run the risk of causing some huge damage to many systems
