Does the transmission filter for the 4 speed FWD RE4F04B need to be change ?

Whenever you are doing a transmission filter change, you would normally do it after you've changed the transmission fluid. Assuming that you do change the fluid every 30-40k miles, change the filter after you've drained the automatic transmission fluid.
I was reading online that the nissan altima 2006 2.5 4 speed automatic transmission filter doesn't need to be change. Only can be replace when rebuilding the transmission.
