2011 Nissan Sentra, 146k miles, CVT transmission. My fluid was changed by mechanic at 100k. I want to change it myself. I understand drain and fill. Is it better to take bottom pan off in order to get more of the old fluid out?

If you want to do all that work go ahead just make sure you measure every drop that comes out and put that same amount back in
