Hi, bought a Nissan Fuga 2005 Y50 (Infinity M35). VDC and Slip lights are on. Because of this cruise control wont engage as well. Two times on rare occations while I pressed brake while slowing down on highway the lights went away after a beep. Wondering what the problem is. looking for your advise

check the brake fluid level first. If it checked out, plug in a scan tool that can read the ABS codes and go from there.
Brake flid level is full. Ok will try with ob reader
has the battery been disconnected recently?
Car battery went flat when gave for service. Then they charged it again. Do you think this could be reason and how to vcd lights?
"Pull your Xterra to an area where you can drive straight ahead without turning the wheel for a couple hundred feet. Have the wheel straight. Turn off engine.
Restart engine and pull straight ahead in drive. Light should go off in a couple hundred feet."

Check for a faulty brake pedal switch.
I checked this and seem to be working fine
