2007 civic coupe ex FG1 clutch slipping after idle for long periods or driving long periods. loss of power & acceleration
any idea why my clutch slips real bad after idling for 30mins or more? same happens when i drive for long periods. replaced clutch kit and flywheel last feb. problem is not constant. bleeding slave cylinder helps immensely but only temporarily. i drive for uber eats, so this problem is pretty crippling at times. any advice would be greatly appreciated! thanks!
this is what the old clutch looked like when i changed it. it was slipping REALLY bad at that point.
Well make sure that the hydraulics are not sticking on so it acts like you got your foot on the clutch all the time which of course will overheat the clutch then it will slip
Thank you!! My clutch pedal just needed to be adjusted a bit. Did that and have been driving the car for about a week and the problem is totally gone!
