Hey,Recently bought a car from a private party Nissan Maxima 2007.I test drove the car and it seemed to run smoothly but had a rough idle and RPM would go down.Owner told me she has not changed the spark plugs or ignition coils in a long time and that was the issue.I bought the car seeing how smoothly it drove.Next day the car would not start.I would turn the ignition but the car would fail to grab power(RPM would go up then die off).I changed the spark plugs and ignition coils and that did not work.I could use some help as I desperately bought this car because I’m starting college and I have a kid to provide for and can’t without fixing this car.
Well start with the simple things. Maybe it just has a vacuum like check to see if a vacuum hoses come off if it's sucking air somewhere. Also try my video. Make your car run better with a little spray cleaner. It's on YouTube. Sometimes throttle will get clogged or they may have sensor. Will get dirty. Pray it stayed easy
