Hi scotty big fan! Your videos have help me save money countless time in my other vehicles. My question is it worth it to buy a 2006 or 2007 nissan murano for about $1000-$2000? I had a 06 nissan murano s for a few years that I bought from a dealer at around 112k miles (first car) but my engine block blew after about 140k miles. I think with my knowledge now and all your helpful hints, I can do better on the up keep and make it last. Can you please give me your wisdom on this question?
I wouldn’t recommend buying that Murano. There’s a reason they sell so cheap and odds are something big will break soon on it. Those Muranos used that horrendous Jatco CVT, which is complete garbage. If you want a crossover/SUV, look for a Toyota RAV4 or even a Toyota Venza. They will cost you more to buy, but they are wayyyy better than those Muranos.
You can try and see.
I would not bother dealing with another Murano again esp. after your first one went out. Just get something that will last longer with minimal issues like a Toyota RAV4.
