2009 Nissan Navara diesel stalls after starting during winter in South Africa

Good day Mr.Scotty, I trust this message finds you well.

I'm from south africa and in dire need of your assistance.
I'm driving a 2009 Nissan Navara D40 2.5 DCI with 326 000 km's on the clock.

In 2019 During the winter months it started to stall shortly after starting. It would continue to die/stall until the engine is warm.

I took it to a Nissan Dealer they couldn't find anything.

During the summer months there is no problem.

During the winter months of 2020 same story, took it to a different nissan dealer they couldn't find anything either.

I did my own research and got the SCV replaced.
It didn't solve the problem.

2021 winter months same story just a little bit worse cause now, it's still stalling but in addition to that it is blowing clouds of white smoke until the enige is warm. And sometimes it is shaking apon start up.
The stalling happens at random sometimes at 5-10 seconds after start.
sometimes at 20-40 seconds after start
sometimes at 3-5 minutes after start.

Again I took it to a Nissan dealer they couldn't find anything.

I got myself a Code Reader and it didn't detect any codes.
I then replaced the Crank and Camshaft sensors.

Still the stalling continued.

Please note all the parts I bought are genuine Nissan parts and I took the pick up to a nissan dealer to get them installed.

The only thing I can still think of to replace is the MAF sensor. I did take it out the otherday, It still looked clean. Unfortunately I didn't have MAF cleaner to spray it with.

Also please note, the EGR is NOT Blanked off and the pick up is not chipped.

Any suggestions on what could cause these problems ??

Looking forward to hearing from you.

I do enjoy your content quite a lot.

Best regards

You may have faulty coolant sensor. Replace that. About the white smoke, do you loose coolant?

Hi  Yaser, thank you for the repsone.

I haven't checked the coolant sensor. Where is ot located I'm not sure where it is.

I don't loose coolant.

Thank you

According to this forum:

It's screwed into the cylinder head at the front on the drivers side under the intake manifold.
