Hey Scotty, should I trade my 2018 Nissan Sentra 30k miles for a 2012 Acura MDX with 114k miles (even trade in). If so, how can I tell if the timing belt was ever replaced? Thanks!
is the Nissan a CVT transmission.
Yes
Cvt or not I would hardly call swapping a car that still is under warranty with a car they is very far out worth an even trade. I would say definitely not
I'm assuming with the current car market you should be able to get a good value for your Nissan (in my area I'm seeing prices around $18k and above). See what it's worth through places like Carvana etc. and if you own the car then use the money to buy something newer like a newer Honda or Toyota. That Acura is too old and too high of a mileage.
I would just sell the vehicle right away if it has a CVT transmission. About the timing belt, check with the mechanic and their service records to see if they take good care of it.
