So I've been watching Scotty's videos. One says to run away fron the Nissan Titan pickups. But in later videos he comments that the titan and frontier are pretty reliable trucks. I like the XD. Most who own them say the tow better than other 1/2 tons. But not sure if they are bad vehicles or not. The Cummins engine seems to have significant issues, but I see good things about the gas.
Personally I'd go with the Tundra
As @jack62 points out, given that the price of a new Tundra is comparable to the price of a new Titan, buy a new Tundra and don't look back.
Tundras may have only a small slice of the market, but market share for Titans is truly microscopic. Dealer support is sketchy, and aftermarket support will likely be very poor. So even though new titans are probably OK trucks, long term ownership could be risky.
