My friend has a 2014 or something like that, I believe it's a Hyundai elantra or sonata it's a hybrid.
Anyways her car has been acting weird. Hybrid warning light on to stop driving. And engine sounds weird.
I noticed there is no belt on the alternator at all. Maybe it broke off? Is it normal for these hybrids to have a alternator with no belt on it???

Well the hybrids don't have alternators. They use generators that run off the engine. There are no belts involved
