I just bought a Can Bus break out Box but I get no resistance showing on pin 6 Can high, and CAN low 14 on my two cars. One is a 2001 nissan altima and the other is a 2004 nissan sentra. I have a red power light and both body and signal grounds. Both cars run perfect. No faults with my Bluedriver scan tool. Do all cars have a CAN BUS network? I should read 60 ohms between the two pins. Key is on, but no resistance reading. What should I do?

WELL, that makes me feel better. Thanks for your help. Does my 2004 nissan sentra hav a can bus? I don't get any reading on that car?

Also just side note you should NEVER be measuring resistance with the key on.. you most likely blew the fuse on whatever meter your using
