Hello Scotty, My 2006 Ford five hundred limited 3.0 V6 with Asin 6-speed and 160,000 miles will occasionally die at a stop. It starts back up. It isn't consistent. It may die and restart 3 times one day, and not do again for a week, or in a couple days. It happens at stop when idling, and starts back up. I had my mechanic look at the car, he cleaned the throttle body. But on the way home, the car died/restart several times. There is no codes, no lights or warnings. I took the car back to my mechanic, and he could not find the problem, and told me to keep driving it until it stops running, or a code/light pop's up. I don't want to throw money away at guessing, and I don't like it periodically dying either. What should I have checked? I appreciate your help. Thanks, John
Try my video, make your car run better with a little spray cleaner. It's on YouTube and often it's just dirt and corrosion inside the throttle or the mass airflow sensor that will do that. You might also put some good fuel injector cleaner in the gas tank
