Honda wants me to spend $300 every 30,000 miles to adjust valves. Is this time frame reasonable or can I extend that interval? I will be using Mobil 1 and changing oil every 3,500 miles. ( I know thats overkill ) I want this car to last over 300,000 miles. What's your opinion? Love your youtube segments

Learn to do it yourself. It's not that hard. If you want the car to last as long as you indicate, yes, the valves need adjusting at that interval if not sooner. You could probably find an independent mechanic to do it less expensively.
