Scotty! My 97 subaru sambar has a tested Baterry. Fuses are all good. New starter, oils good, new ignition switch, new fuel pump relay, new ignition coil. New cap and rotor, spark plugs, Lights won't even turn on.
Tried to do an amp test, got 0 from post to post/post to ground clamp. Could this be a main relay?
Maybe some weird safety non theft feature?
Something extra puzzling is I added a new manual radiator fan. It has its own fuse and ground Independent from any other part of the car. Doesn't work either. Continuity tests shows it should.
Cleaned all grounds, replaced/cleaned battery terminals.
Turned engine by hand its def not seized.
Did a valve adjustment recently and it's been running better than ever.
Just all of a sudden it went for a [expletive deleted].
Battery charged but acts like it's dead. Any suggestions?
My next step is computer and relay. Maybe a push button start or something but im not sure they will help
Don't just guess and throw parts at the problem. Assuming your battery is actually good you need to do basic electrical troubleshooting. Using a wiring diagram for guidance, use a test light or multimeter to see where the power stops.
