Hi Scotty. My friend is looking to buy a 2014 Nissan Juke AWD with 85,000 miles for $5500 from his cousin, who has just owned it for 3 months and said he needs the money because he is buying a new home? I am not a big fan of Nissan as I own 2 Camry's now. What do you think and what should he look for. Does this car have a CVT transmission? Any info will be greatly appreciated.
Thank You !
Ralph
What do you think
I think it would be foolish to buy one of those things. The Jatco CVTs that Nissan uses are junk, and chances are the fluid has never been changed which makes an expensive failure in the relatively short term likely.
If it's the automatic, yes, it's a CVT. I'm pretty sure Nissan doesn't make the Juke anymore. When manufacturers discontinue vehicles, 9 times out of 10, they're poor quality.
@justin-shepherd The Juke is still sold in the UK, but it's been upgraded. The original juke wasn't popular in the US because of the way it looks
