I have a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0 with 131K. It will randomly be totally dead. This happens maybe every two to three months. When it first did it I had the starting/charging system checked and they told me it was a bad battery. I recently replaced the battery and thought that issue would be resolved. However, it did it again even with a fresh battery that I got two weeks ago. I hooked up my portable jump starter and it fired right up. I moved it to the street and it seemed to be working fine. I went back out to move it into the garage and it was totally dead again. Any ideas on this random issue?
