I have a 2013 Honda Accord Touring with a V6 engine and automatic transmission, 180K miles. There is a noise coming from the dashboard as if something is trying to move or close. Sometimes it will go away when I use HVAC but it drones on sometimes when I don't use HVAC. What could this be?

Realize when you start the car even if you don't turn the AC on, there are valves and solenoids that open and close and that's normally what makes the noise on those. It is such a pain in the rear end to tear a dash apart for something like that. Personally, I'd live with it as long as the HVAC works
