Noise with acceleration

  • Scotty, I've got a 2011 Acura TL SH AWD with 60,000 miles, automatic transmission. It's making a vibration noise when accelerating. It doesn't happen all the time. Could it be the transmission?

It is possible to be the transmission. I would look at the motor mounts first it’s not uncommon for one to rip or sag over time and cause a vibration more pronounced on acceleration

Do you think it's safe to drive for a week or so or should I have it checked out asap?

Sooner than later cause it won’t get better but it should be ok
