Hi there, when I slow down/go over bumps slowly/turn corners slowly my Rav4 creaks. When my heat is on in the Rav the engine area makes a tist tist tist tist tist noise, but when the heat is off the noise is gone. What would these noises be? It's a leased vehicle and Toyota said under 100,000km is covered under warranty and I'm at 93,000km already I had a lot of driving to do in the first year of having it. What are some suggestions you have? They said if it's not covered I'm looking at $600-700. They have also been calling me to buy my Rav4 back and I don't know if I should go ahead with that or not. There's a cigarette hole in the drivers seat because I trusted someone not to smoke in my vehicle and there's also a hole in the back door, the cover area over the speaker. I've been constantly stressing about all of this. Please help me!
Well you don't own it so who really cares just live with it you don't own the thing and they're going to charge your money anyway you look at it today they just have to make money at the dealerships. They don't give a hoot about leased cars
My 2011 Rav4 had a creak over bumps issue from 2 spots - the rear and some times from the windshield passenger side. The windshield still does it from time to time but what helped in the back was opening the trunk door and greasing all the rubber bits back there.
