2019 Jetta with noisy brakes when backing up. Car only has 8000 miles on it..Does more of this noise when cold out. Any ideas ?

8000 miles on a 2019. Still in warranty period. Have the dealership look at it. Although brakes rotors etc are considered “wear items” they’re often covered for the first 12,000 miles or so. Check your warranty guide.

Only when backing out? Probably rust forming on discs. If you are located in coastal area, humid area, rainy area, … yep, most likely rust forming over night. Just a suggestion, …
