Just curious what is the optimal engine running temperature for a civic equipped with a d16y7 motor? my OBD2 scanner gives me live data of the coolant temp and its right at about 195-205, and around to 214ish stopped and idling before the cooling fan kicks on. is this normal or should i be looking to the cooling system? Thanks again

Well realize those temperature readings are not all that accurate on those crappy little gauges basically they should run a little bit over halfway if they get past three quarters then something's wrong
