Scotty,
I am reaching out to see if it is worth investing in a complete Seal job on my 2007 Buick Lucerne V8 Equipped Vehicle. It currently sits at 70,000 miles and I recently had all of the Spark Plugs replaced and it runs much better now.
The shop said that the current leak is nominal and isn’t affecting the engine or drivability between regular oil changes, but I’d like to have it fixed up and in tip too shape.
My question: Is it worth it to invest in a complete seal job on this engine...and if so, what should I expect to pay at a reputable shop?

Try some additive that is designed to swell seals and gaskets.
Northstars are notorious oil leakers and not cheap to fix. Expect either the engine or transmission to be removed to properly fix. In doing that you're opening a can of expensive worms. Looking at base price of $1500 minimum in labor plus parts. Add in anything else that can/will be found...timing inspection/repair, etc. You could easily be into the price of a factory remanufactured engine with a multi-year nationwide warranty.
Junk yard engines are just that...junk.
