I have a 1988 Chevy Silverado 2W C1500 5.7 . The engine light comes one when im going 45 -60MPH for about a mile or two. and Autozone told me to use the paperclip method cause OBD 1 testers. and tthat method worrys me since i have no clue on what im doing. its like count the blinks of the light .it is a pain since ifits not 1994 for newer most auto gurages in my area tell me nothing is wrong. they look at and see its OBD 1 and tell me its okaythat the test is clear when they cant even hook anything to it. i end up taking it 30 min to and hour drive to have my truck worked on. What should I do?
