- Hi Scotty, im a big fan and thank for everything you do!Obd doesnt read codes except for abs and the mechanic couldnt check whats wrong with the car. The problem started after few days my car had missfires, i wanted to change the pcv valve and spark plugs as i sav your video, but then after few days my gf needed the car and power steering shut off and i told her to park the car for me to fix it right away as this happened to me before 2 times. I fixed the issue but then the nwxt day my car after starting it shut down and the vsc light came up.I searched yt and tryed the gas cap, fixed, and air sensor air blown and My question is... reconnected, but i also wanted to fix vsc so i used a paperclip for obd to put it in test mode wich i didnt finnish cuz the car didnt run after that. Then i took it to the mechanic and paid 50€ for towing there and 50€ bach home cuz he also couldt connect to obd, even tho i also cheched and fixed all the obd pins that were loose. Any idea? Desperatly hoping for your rescue. PS you rock👌💪 Lexus is250 rwd benzin 2006 about 275k km
You need to take it to someone with a higher end code reader to make the connection to find out what's going on.
The mechanic tryed with 2 obd readers, none were getting inside
It seems you are not the only one with this problem
Other mechanic came to my house and got inside the obd, the codes he got now are B2278 main switch (starter switch) signal does not match to starter switch2 signal.... And... EMPS c1511 torque sensor, c1512 torque sensor, c1528 motor rotation angle sensor.... And.... Gateway b1205 afs ecu communication stop, b1208 right seat passanger seat mirror ecu communication stop

Short descriptions of codes
If you have done all DIY work correctly and haven't snapped or damaged any wiring or anything else, I think the computer is shot.
Damn, i hope the wires are the problem. The mechanic will take a look at it today, i hope for the best, will post what happened...

Do you mean they couldn't be plugged in?
They connected to the obd and all they could read is abs, nothing else. No i dont have chains on tyres
Question about chains is my signature and has nothing to do with your question.
