Hi Folks,
I want to start destroying my car with computers. I thought I might start with some random software found for free on the internet loaded onto my laptop and then into my car.
Can anyone suggest a cable? Preferably not one made in China though 'cause you never know what those guys are up to. Is this one any good: NiceCheck ENET OBD Cable OBDII F-Series Coding Ethernet OBD ENET RJ45 Cable (Amazon funny link)
Car: 2006 Lexus IS220D (Diesel)
Thanks.

Don’t forget to save the original/stock ECU map/settings, in case things turn pear shaped..
I'm not familiar with that one, but I've used the "ScanTool OBDLink SX USB" and it seemed to work pretty well. (Haven't used it in a while though since acquiring other scan tools.)
This site seems to go a little funny in the head with Amazon links, so I don't know if this will work but you can alternatively search on the name:

Thanks again gents.
