2011 Ford Ranger 2.3L manual 2wd 115k mi, occasionally (maybe every 5 or 6 hot starts) after being driven and sitting for a few minutes (going into a store and coming out) the truck takes excessive cranking to start. Once started runs fine. Cleaned MAP sensor, no change.

Clean the fuel injectors. If that did not help, it is time to change the injectors.
