Heya.
Is there a good scan tool that can do both a 2005 VW Golf 2.0 and a 2016 Mazda3?
I know the Mazda could use just any generic, but for the life of me, I cannot find if the VW uses a VAGCOM, CANBUS, ODB2,etc scanner.

Bud of mine uses Carista OBD2 Bluetooth Adapter, … comes with app, on his Vee-Dub. Last time I talked to him he was still happy, … but I don’t know much about the unit itself. FWIW

You can use any scanner on a VW but you really need a vague com if you're serious about Volkswagen you can get one of those generic vague comm ones they work quite well. Obd11 pro for like $120 it's pretty good
