Hello all, I have a 2000 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner 2.7L (3RZ-FE), it was handed down to me by my dad who let it sit for about 2 years, with a drive a week to keep it running. It makes an odd noise (labored sort of noise) when accelerating at about 45 to 50 mph, and while it makes this noise it does not accelerate as fast. If I let off the gas and then accelerate again it usually works fine afterward, until the next time I accelerate again. This has stumped me and a few mechanics. Any idea what it could be? Thanks.
