If GM replaces the piston rings via dealership service, what are the odds the engine would have future issues?

If what caused the rings to fail in the first place is not solved. Then I would expect it to happen again in another 60,000mi.

Not only that but there are myriad ways the dealership can mess up on a job like that.

Let them fix the car and then get rid of that.
