About four months ago I purchased a Certified Used CRV. It now has 41368 miles.
im retired now so I don’t use it for commuting.
Im new to the area. One of my neighbors recommended me to a garage. The person at the garage told me if I drive less than 6000 miles per year. I should change the oil once per year.
Does this sound right? I thought maybe every five months?
The owners manual says to use OW-20 oil.

I say one year is fine. Scotty says the same in his videos.
Once a year or every 5K-6K miles.
The maintenance minder will also tell you when your oil change is due. It’s usually near the odometer on Honda’s. Might need to go through menus.
But it’s easier just to do once a year or every 5-6K miles.
