Oil change/maintenance schedule.

Hi. I watched some of your YouTube clips and they are genius. I have a 2018 Nissan rouge I purchased from my father at 23,000k. I changed oil and filter every 5k (Mobil 1 ow-20 and fram ultra filter). Can I push it back every 6k? Also, approaching 42,000k I haven’t done any tune up other than changing in cabin and engine air filters. What should I be looking for in a tune up at the mechanics shop? How much should it cost? Lastly, is sea foam good in tank/crankcase. If so , how often should I be running it in both applications? Thanks!! -ed

If majority of your commute is on the highway at constant cruising speed, sure.

Check your owner’s manual for the maintenance items at your mileage. Your vehicle is probably due for a transmission fluid change and brake fluid flush.

How much should it cost?

Price around various independent shops in your area.

Don’t bother. Scotty has made numerous videos showing why not to use sea foam in cars.

All the best!
