Oil Change Question

I have a 2013 F-150, 75,000 miles, 3.5L 6cyl Eco-boost.  When I change the oil I only get about 5qts out.  It requires 6qts.  The level on the dipstick before the change shows it is full of oil.  Should I put less oil in the engine than what it calls for?

The reason that is happening is because when you drain it one quart will say in the bottom of the pan.
