I own 4 different vehicles, a 1997 Tercel, 2009 Camry, 1977 Silverado 422,354 still runs, 2007 Odyssey. My question is how do you feel about extracting oil vs draining oil which is best?

Draining oil is best.

If you still getting underneath the car to change oil filter, I don't see any point of oil extraction since draining would be faster and easier (and better).

I tend to be 'old school' and prefer draining my oil. However, oil extractors have become mainstream especially in the DIY community for several reasons. The main reason is obvious; there's little mess and no lift/ramp etc is needed. Since the goal is a fluid/oil exchange, IMO how you do it isn't as important getting it done.
