I have a 2014 Honda accord sport would you recommend a genuine Honda filter or a mobile 1 oil filter as the Honda filter is made from fram

Oh both of those are perfectly fine
Mobil 1 filters are great. But where they shine is longevity. In most cases you need to change the oil before the filter reaches the end of its life. As long as you keep fresh oil in it, use what you want.

I've used many: Fram, STP, WIX, AC Delco, Mobil 1... , and I never leave them long enough to notice a difference. My favorite right now is whatever AutoZone has on sale (they like to do deals where you get a discount on oil + filter bundle). If I had to choose a subjective favorite, it would be Fram (even though everyone hates them) because I like the grippy material they put around it to make hand tightening/loosening easier.
NAPA filters are good value for money
