I have a 2003 Toyota Camry with 220,000 mi, and it recently developed a valve gasket leak. I’m going to replace the gasket soon, but I need to know if I should dry the oil in the spark wells or just leave it and wait for it to figure itself out once it stops receiving more oil.

How long do you intend to keep driving it before you change the gaskets? If you're going to change the gaskets this weekend, then clean it all up when you do the work.
