Oil Leak

Hello Scotty,

I own a 2013 Chevy Cruze 1.4 with 130K miles. I leak a little bit of oil from the front and back of my valve cover on the passenger side of the car. I’ve already replaced my valve cover as well as the gasket, I’ve also replaced my intake manifold and both of the parts mentioned above are from dorman. What else could I do in order for my oil leak to stop?

Thank you,

Landeros

Well I just had a guy with the same exact problem. We had to replace the valve cover assembly that cheap plastic crap just need to be replaced. It wouldn't seal anymore. He replaced this with a metal one made in China

Thank you,

For budgeting purposes, should I just get the OEM valve cover? I noticed that one has a better feel to it while the doorman one does have a brittle plastic. If I were to get a metal one where could I find one?
