I have a 2013 GMC Sierra and the oil pressure gauge keeps fluctuating back and forth between a quarter and half. No engine light and runs smooth. Could it be the oil pressure sensor? {black}:idontknow:

Test oil pressure with mechanical gauge, and you have your answer.

The pigtail (wiring harness) is most likely the culprit, not the sensor.
However, when your in there, replace BOTH.....
