Hi Scotty, I was watching your video on catch cans. I have a 2021 F-150 with the 3.5 ecoboost. I live on an island and it is slow driving off season and stop and go on season. 2 Ford Techs have said “Ford fixed that problem and doesn’t recommend installing an oil catch can system”. I rarely get off island and onto a highway. I bought a Mishimoto can system and I am now confused, do I return the product (almost $500) or install it? I’d appreciate your help in making the right decision to care for my new truck. Thank you!
Me I'd put the oil catch can on it
The 2nd gen 3.5 eco which you have, does have duel injectors. I have talked to a few ford techs here in town and they have all told me if you can afford to put a catch can on do it.
@chrisd use the jlt catch cans, you can find them for around $200.
$500 for an oil catch can??? WOW!
Thank you
