Scotty,
I have a 2007 Ford Expedition with the 5.4 3V. It has 236k miles. I can see some oil sludge in the heads under the valve covers. Is there anything I can do to clean that out without pulling the engine apart? Is there any danger in doing that? Thanks for your help!

Recent video by Scotty gives his suggestion on the best way to clean sludge: https://youtu.be/NqJdjaT55NA?t=350
It's a problem with these engines. The oil passages are too small.
