According to the manual, my 2002 Lexus needs premium gas.
Just watched you video though and am tempted to switch to regular. I had an Infiniti Q45 and for over 14 years ran regular without an issue, thanks.
You all keep trying, but you're not going to get me started again. {black}
typical joe vs mod_man...
Haha well for what it's worth I like Joe. He keeps me on my toes, is a good guy, and has a lot of good advice which I agree with probably 99% of the time. Just not on gas. {black}
Thank you . That's very kind. I will let the gas thing slide for now (even though you're obviously wrong.) because you're an OK guy.
I would go for a beer with you any day, although I'm still a _bit_ unsure how I feel. I haven't put that many miles on my Vortec 5.3 yet, so you know ... we'll see . It better last is all I'm trying to say. I'm holding you accountable.
Hahaha well challenge accepted! If something does go wrong, well, I'll buy the beers. 🙂
Ya'll get a room! lol
I don't know which side who is on what... I'm on the side if I try regular and it knocks/pings (trained discrete ear), then regular is ok. I have my 02 chevy tuned (timing advanced) for premium but put regular in it these days cause I don't drive like I used too... should reprogram but just drive careful to avoid ping... which is an awful idea/way to treat my truck! So don't do what I do as it is wrong (ping/knock bad as it will eventually do serious damage).
I have no idea what these blokes are talking about and they tell me I am irrelavent loL
It is an old luxury car with probably high miles, give it the premium gas.
If it says premium gas, then use premium gas.
Note: it says "temporarily". Just pointing that out, not trying to say anything. Lovely night out there. Hope all is well.
listen wise guy, I don't need your smartass comments on all of my answers. If you think ...
😆 j/k
